There is a further update to be installed for the Club Master.

Version UK-09 update 0x12 (available on-line from the 14th April)....

Please ensure the current version is installed prior to marking for this weekends race...

SOFTWARE UPDATE 2015
THE PROCEDURES FOR UPDATING YOUR BRICON SYSTEM ONLINE
Required equipment
(a). Any computer that is connected to the internet.
(b). The Bricon Club Editor (BCE) software program loaded onto the computer ( latest version 2015.2.4.1)
(c). The Bricon Drivers (32 bit or 64 bit) downloaded on to the computer (can be found on www.BriconUK.com).
(d). The Bricon Club-Master.
(e). The USB cable that was supplied with the master system.
(f). The power supply for the master (the transformer).
Windows Vista and Windows 7 or 8.
If your computer has the Vista, 7 or 8 operating system, then the ”USER ACCOUNT CONTROL‟ will need to
be disabled before carrying out the update. The procedure to do this can be found on the Bricon UK website.
Step by Step guide to download the new Bricon Club-Master 2015 software
 New Bricon Club-Master 2015 software = version UK-09 update 0x12
 Speedy Clock 2015 software = Speedy 012+ UK (no change from 2013 or 2014)
1. Start the Bricon Club Editor (BCE) program on the computer by clicking on the BCE desktop icon.
2. Ensure that the BCE program is set to accept automatic downloads (look within options).
3. Ensure that the BCE program is configured for the correct language [English] and country [UK/Ireland].
4. Using the USB cable (supplied), connect the Bricon Club-Master to the computer.
5. Put the power cable into the master.
6. The master display will show a message box saying “PC-communicat” ...then pause ...then updating.
7. The computer screen will show “Busy loading new software in master”. This will take a few minutes.
8. The computer screen will then show the massage “New version of Master loaded”. Do NOT click on this.
9. The master display will give the message “Clear updates ?”
10. Press OK on the master and numbers will start counting until reaching 08191.
11. When the count has stopped, press OK on the master and a whirling sound will be heard.
12. Change “Club ID 9999” to a club number or to the last 4 of the serial number found on the back of master.
13. Press OK on the master and its display will indicate “synchronise master – no synchronisation”.
14. Remove the power cable from the master, wait a few seconds and put the power back into the master.
15. Wait for the master to restart, and then on the message box showing on the computer click OK
16. The master display will show the message box “PC-communicat”.
17. The computer screen will indicate that it is “Uploading *Little UK-20” software.
The computer screen will indicate that it is “Uploading *Speedy UK12+” software.
The computer screen will indicate that it is “Uploading *Speedylite 12+” software.
The computer screen will indicate that it is “Uploading *Bricon+ 007” software.
18. When the message box on the computer disappears, the software download is completed.
19. Within the option page of the BCE, click on Stop Communication.
20. Disconnect the USB cable from the master and computer and remove the power cable from the master.
21. This update carries out a complete reset of the system and therefore racepoints will need to be re-entered.
SOFTWARE UPDATES SHOULD ALWAYS BE CARRIED OUT
It is very important that this download is carried out in order to bring your system up to the new 2015 specifications
and to ensure continued smooth running and improved functionality plus also new options and benefits.
The software version that is on the master can be viewed during the start-up and will also appear on print-outs.
SPEEDY CLOCKS
If a Speedy was given software during March or early April 2015 then it should now be given refreshed
software from the master (menu 12 ‘updating’) after the master has received its update to version UK-09.
