Billericay 3rd July 2016 Convoyers Report

Fri 7.45 ,rang Marin ,Alan rang Stephen vote was 3 to 0 to delay race by 24 hours ,part of problem was we are not able to have an early liberation from Billericay from club pick ups and the forecast was for heavy showers over the last 100 miles of route from mid morning.

Sat 7.45 Alan rang Martin and Stephen ( my phone was flat ) vote was 2 to 0 to go , my vote was to go.

12.30 went to yard picking up Crook, Cockfield Feds ,back to yard for 4.30 putting trailer on to wagon ,set off at 6.30 with 2 wagons and 1 trailer ,arriving on site at 12.25 ,birds opened up and watered by 1.00

Sun 5.45 ,blue skies prepared for liberation birds liberated at 6.45 in a light west south west wind ,birds cleared well
