Barrie Blackett (Butterknowle) RIP

It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing yesterday of Barrie a friend and popular fancier across the area. A top fancier at Club, Amalgamation and National level with his own successful style of management. He loved his Channel racing and will be greatly missed.
Sincere condolences to Susan and his family.

EMERGENCY COMMITTEE MEETING HAVE VOTED 3-2 IN FAVOUR OF RACING COMMENCING AS AGREED ON SATURDAY 9th April

START DATE FOR RACING

I have received 2 emails from TD and N'Castle.
They both propose that racing be put back 1 week as AP, CON, TD and NC CANNOT RACE ON April 9th

I think we have 3 options

1. Race programe as normal for 5 Feds

2. Racing starts April 16th from ACKWORTH and miss T/Hall

3. Racing starts on April 16th from T/Hall

No way can the programe be put back 1 week, some sites will not be available on other dates

The Emergency Committee will decide, they may come up with something else
