Well at least we have a programme would have liked the young birds to stay as voted on 9 races but have put your programme into the unikon manager so let’s hope all goes well
Stay safe.
Was in forecast ?
Today (Sunday) the emergency committee have had a meeting to agree a way forward
These are unprecedented times that we are in and they have made decisions for the rest of the season for racing and charges.
The race programme is based on IF !!! we are allowed to start on 6th June at present this is not confirmed plus at present the only site that has confirmed to be available is Thoresby Hall they informed Brian on Friday that they are reopening the site
French racing will depend upon regulations at the time
looks like this will not be going ahead so can we change it to first inland national for best 2 bird performance £100 and we will add another £50 for best 2 bird performance yearlings only thanks alan ... james and alyson vale of derwent social club ne39 1qg
There is a possibility of 7old bird Saturday slots and nine young bird slots (as previous agreement )
As long as lockdown is not reinstated.
Therefore we must look at the first two races and obtain permission to liberate birds on sites around 100 mile or less and keep in mind that things can change very quickly so try not to get ahead of ourselves .
To enable birds to come up to race savy Wednesday the 3rd June could be used as a booster—trainer or race from a short race point —would this be possible —would members want to ?
I have received and circulated to fed secretaries another copy of the protocol same date as previous one but has been changed in section regarding transporters
The NEHU have released a protocol ,I have sent it to each Federation Secretary and asked them to forward it to as many members as possible ,there are some significant differences to the RPRA protocol and it may well be if the government announce some more relaxed rules after 1st June it may change again
Have just had a conversation with John Snowdon NEHU President,
This afternoon I received an email from the NEHU but it had no attachment, basically the email is to say that provided the Government ease restrictions the NEHU have agreed that racing can commence on the 1st June 2020
When I receive the email I will put it on the website
