Reminder from the NEHU re Shows and DEFRA General License

After the NEHU Office clarified the issue with AHPO your attention is brought to the following:

Any Clubs/Feds organising shows are reminded DEFRA should be advised that they are holding a gathering and the conditions of the general license must be complied with as to bio security etc. by the organisers and all entrants.

Each competitor must also fill in a copy of the health declaration we filled in each week of the young bird season.

James cook hospital

After the lofts of Mr /Mrs Walton were burnt to the ground at bishop auckland the pigeon fanciers rallied together to raise funds for a new loft to get them back in the sport.Jeff and Denise were given permission to erect the loft in a new location,unfortunately after lofts were erected things didn't work out with the people who had gave them permission to have the lofts in their garden they flew young birds last year and old birds this year from the new loft.Alf waggett decided to call it a day due to ill health and offered Jeff and Denise his loft which was only 20 yards away they took t

Highspen Midweek Club--Vale of Derwent -- open race and club result.

well lads you missed out--
TEA/COFFEE----and Sausage butties with red or brown sauce --well was worth basketing in the dark at the loft this morning,and we got a great day for the race.
i was a bit disappointed only two lofts took up my challenge to join our club open race--one loft from esh winning --clark bros and the other from blyth---S Kinahan.
so shortest flyer and longest flyer--and a liberation time of 3pm in a WSW WIND--Gusty.
so who would you put your money on ??????
