The final race approx 800 birds was held today liberated at 7 00 at Alnwick approx 235 miles first bird was clocked at 2,42
Well done to John Duggan from Cockfield whose bird finished 2nd
At present about 75 birds home ,as some would say returns are gappy

As you are all aware at the agm it was agreed that the birds go on Friday approx 2 hours earlier than normal .

Fri 7.45 spoke to Martin and Stephen vote was 3 to 0 to delay race by 24 hours

Sat 7,45 spoke to Martin and Stephen vote was 3 to 0 to go

Sat 4.30 arrived at yard picked up West Durham,Cockfield,Crook and Darlington arrived at Barton for 8.30 ,2 wagons and 1 trailer set off at 9.30 arriving on site at 12,30 birds watered and opened up by 1.00

Sunday UNC and NNA arrived on site

Sunday up at 6,45 full cloud cover on site but most of route ok

9 am improving north just waiting for race point to improve
