Well done all on a difficult day quite a few missing at clocks

birds split up and numbers show losses this year as only 100 birds were marked for the race.

As you are all aware at the agm it was agreed that the birds go on Friday approx 2 hours earlier than normal .

Sat 4.30 arrived at yard picked up West Durham,Cockfield,Crook and Darlington arrived at Barton for 8.30 ,2 wagons and 1 trailer set off at 9.30 arriving on site at 12,30 birds watered and opened up by 1.00

Sunday UNC and NNA arrived on site

Sunday up at 6,45 full cloud cover on site but most of route ok

9 am improving north just waiting for race point to improve
