Further to my post yesterday the RPRA published a post late last night on their web site ,I set out below some details from it.
I must point out at this time I have had no notification from the NEHU regarding these details

The statement is based on details in the government 60 page document published yesterday

Individual loft training will be permitted from WEDNESDAY 13th May 2020 ,this does not apply to Scotland,Wales and Northern Ireland

The RPRA have put a notice on their website after last nights government announcement saying as follows

After the announcement, the President ,Vice Presidents and Chief Executive were having an online meeting to discuss what was said and to try to provide an update regarding training and racing
Further discussions are planned for today ( Monday ) with the Chair of the All Party Parliament Group for Pigeon Racing

The notice points out that training is strictly prohibited, and anyone doing so may be jeopardising the chances of agreeing a start date

Well it's looking like the new racing programme will need revamping as to starting on the 23rd with the old birds

Hi everybody I hope you are all keeping healthy and safe in these unbelievable times

Today I have looked in the northern echo where there are 24 death notices and in today’s Homing World there are 18 obituaries, makes you stop and think.

We have been asked by the RPRA to look at a race Programme starting from the 23rd of May so that sites can be booked

I must stress at this time there has been no notice of any agreement for racing to start on that date and much will depend on the governments next announcement about lock down arrangements
