Former member of Tow Law Homing Society,Arthur Liddle has passed away aged 94 .
I first met Arthur in 1967 when I first met my wife to be Norma ,
Arthur his wife Edith and daughter Susan lived next door to Normas mam and dad for many many years
Arthur flew pigeons in partnership with his friend Tommy Cowton and in 1977 were 1st Club ,1st Fed , 1st WDA in the Beauvais National from 4,755 birds
Arthur’s funeral is on Monday 23rd Dec 2019 at 12.30pm at Wear Valley Crematorium,Coundon
To his daughter Susan and Family I send my sincerest condolences

Today we have received notification from the NEHU that Bob Alder is not appealing against the NEHU appeals committee who voted to stand by the decision of the WDA committee to omit Bob from the result , Bob has also rang me

This means that the revised result which was published on the web site on the 12 th July page 48 is now the official result

I have spoken to Brian and he will now sort the prize cards and prize money , I will arrange for the trophies to be engraved and then arrange to have them distributed

SHOWS TO BE HELD ON 14th and 28th of December
At tindale crescent WMC

First one will be for the first channel race and longest race .judged separate
£5 per bird must show 2 in channel show then can nominate

£10 for longest race

£1per pigeon penning fee

All money paid out after expenses

Penning 11.30 till 1

Second show will be for the second inland national (28TH December )

At the NEHU appeals committee held last night the committee upheld the decision of the West Durham Amalgamation and omitted Bob Alders 2 birds from the result

Bob now has 14 days to appeal to NEHU General Council if he wishes to do so
