Highfied H.S will be holding our annual Show races open to the 5 Northern Feds TD, AP, CON, NP & SAC at Highfield S.C Smailes Lane NE39 1PG....The first show on 26th Dec is for the first inland Nat £2.50 per bird plus pools penning 12-1pm. Bird Flu

Have spoken to Nehu office, as per yesterdays announcement on government update re bird flu ,birds are now allowed to be let out ,but please be vigilant , shows and sales can be held under existing general licence , that is notify defra with details before hand

Bird Flu Restrictions

I've just read the document entitled Avian influenza (bird flu) on the government website and it now states the following:

Pigeons or birds of prey
You can still fly pigeons or birds of prey, but you should try to keep them away from making direct contact with (or catching) wildfowl. Keep a close watch on the health of your birds.
