Friday at 6.15pm arrived at Barton Services were baskets from CR and DV were transhipped onto the wagon and trailer, left Barton at 6.40pm. 11.00pm we stopped at Bishop Stortford for our 45 min break left at 11.45pm. Saturday at 2.00am we arrived to the entrance to maidstone lakes but couldn't gain access to liberation site until 7.00am, so birds were watered up and curtain buckles and shutters were lifted by 2.30am. Gate opened at 7.00am we arrived on the liberation site for 7.15am. No word till 8 o'clock both wagon and trailer fully opened waters were topped back up and splashed to encourage them to drink. 8.00am birds liberated in no wind sunshine blue skies all cleared excellent. Line of flight Maidstone, Dartford, Reed, Huntingdon, Peterbrough, Grantham, Newark, Doncaster, Wakefield, Home end wasn't the best but as the day went on it was expected to clear out.
