524 baskets----can only estimate ,20 birds per basket---
10480 birds-----would be nice to see total birdage each race,total birds from each club on drivers sheet.
We have had two good races with fantastic returns.

Fri 7.45 I rang Martin ,Alan rang Stephen vote was 3 to 0 to delay race by 24 hours

Sat 7.45 , I rang Martin ,Alan rang Stephen vote was 3 to 0 to go

Sat 1,00 arrived at yard ,picked up Deerness Valley , West Durham and Darlington ,arrived at Barton at 6,00

Sat 8,00 pm ,left Barton with 4 wagons and 2 trailers arrived onsite at 10,00,birds opened up and watered by 10,45

Sun 6.00 am clear blue skies and a white frost

7.00 ,warming up ,no wind

8,00 birds liberated in a light west north west wind ,clearing well,cloudless skies on route home.
