Delegates notes from adjourned AGM + amended race program to show X Rings and Friday marking for Maidstone Nationals

Finance Commitee recommendations are a separate email/report.

Adjourned AGM held Wednesday 6th of March

1) Discussion took place regarding the vote for which day to basket for Maidstone Nationals.
Amalgamation Secretary explained that had made a mistake with the proposal from Newcastle West Progressive & Tyne & Derwent Feds & it should have been Friday marking for Maidstone, not Thursday.
As a result and all present being mandated to vote the vote was reheld.

Maidstone Nationals basket Friday for Saturday 25 birds per basket.

For Friday:
Darlington 25 Votes, West Durham 67 votes, Tyne & Derwent 42 votes, Newcastle West Progressive 35 votes - Total 169

For Thursday:
Annfield Plain 34 votes, Deerness Valley 30 votes, Crook 17 votes, Consett 52 votes, Cockfield 31 votes - Total 166

So carried to basket Friday for Saturday for Maidstone Nationals

2) X Rings

Yearling X Rings to be flown from Maidstone National 1
2 Year Old X Rings to be flown from Sellindge National 1

3) Old Bird Sprint Champion:

a) to be flown from 9 Fed races Ackworth to Huntingdon and calculated on 4 performance co-efficent Prop T&D, Sec DV

Tyne & Derwent 42 votes, Newcastle 35 votes, Deerness Valley 30 votes, Annfield Plain 34 votes, West Durham 67 votes - Total 173

b) to be flown from full Inland program Prop DAR, Sec Con

Darlington 25 votes, Concert 52 votes, Crook 1 7 votes, Cockfield 31 votes - Total 160 votes

Carried for the Alf Rothwell Sprint Champion to be flown from all 9 OB races between Ackworth & Huntingdon on a 4 Race co efficient on Fed performances.

4) YB Sprint Champion flown from 9 YB races and calculated on 3 race co efficient from Fed results

5)WDA Champion Old Bird trophy presented by Ian Stafford flown from the 6 Old Bird Nationals - winner pigeon with most points (50 points for 1st to 1 point to 50th)

6) WDA Champion Yearling Trophy - Alfie Hawthorne Snr Challenge Trophy
To be flown from the 6 Old Bird Nationals - winner Yearling with the most points (50 points for 1st to 1 point for 50th).

7) Shepherd Trophy - will be awarded to the member with the most points from the 6 Old Bird Nationals (50 points for 1st to 1 point for 50th)

8) Downes & Dolohan Trophy - will be awarded to the members with the most points from all Nationals 7 in total (50 points for 1st to 1 point for 50th)

9) WDA General Champion Trophy - best average velocity from the 7 Amalgamation Nationals

10) Allocation of trophies to races for 2024 season and onwards:

Emailed to the Federation Secretaries to allow members to confirm acceptance.
