Friday at 7 20pm one of our wagons developed a problem involving a smell of burning and leaving a trail of water when meeting us to tranship baskets at Shildon Baskets from AP and DV fed were transhipped. Once finished transhipping the little 7.5tonne wagon was driven to sewells. All wagons arrived on site at 10 45pm birds were watered up by 11 15pm and drinking very well. Curtain buckles were loosen and shutters were lifted a couple of inches due to rain forecasted during the night. 6 30am weather on site was full cloud cover expected to start clearing out about 8oclock. 8 o'clock weather on site still improving. 9oclock weather on site sunny blue skies waiting for home end to clear out. 10 o'clock high cloud a couple of breaks good visibility no sun expecting to liberate shortly was waiting on a couple of batches of pigeons from the 2nd lib of the unc to clear. 10 25 NP TD AP and CON feds were liberated in a South West wind birds cleared well had a batch of about a 100 Split in 2 kits stayed for a couple of minutes then cleared. 10 45 DV CR CF WD and DAR were liberated in South West wind birds cleared well had a batch of about 50 took another couple of mins to clear.
