Thurs 7,45 rang Martin and Stephen vote was 2 to 1 to go ,informed Alan

6.00 arrived at yard picked up Cockfield and West Durham,back to yard ,all baskets loaded on to 1 wagon left at 8.30 picking up Darlington on the way

Arrived at Dover at 3.40 ,birds watered on quayside sailed on 4.30 ferry
Arrived on site at 9.30 birds opened up and watered, fed birds at 4.00 and rewatered , temperature was 29deg at 3pm
Forecast very good from site to Dover , thick cloud from Maidstone to Cambridge, then very good to home end,with the channel clear

Sat up at 4.45 blue skies on site ,liberated birds at 6.15 In a north west wind , with north to north west all the way home, left at 7.00, ,could see Dover from Calais ,
