Set off for Thoresby Hall at 10.55 with 3 wagons and 1 trailer arriving at 1.00 ,opened up and watered by 1.15 ,very few birds drinking

Sat up at 5.30 ,cloudless on site

6.00 am ,black clouds over site

6.30 sun rising

Forecast good at Ollerton until 10.00, chance of a shower forecast,

Showers at Wetherby area from 10.00 onwards plus wind to increase by midday

Birds liberated at 8.10 in a fresh west north west wind ,turning westerly on route
