Thursday 7,45 rang Martin and Stephen vote was 3 to 0 to go,forecast showers on Saturday in England chance of poor visibility on channel ,may clear by 9.00 am

4,30 went to yard to pick up wagon and drag ,picked up Cockfield and West Durham,back to yard for 7.50
Took 1 wagon and trailer setting off at 8,30 picking up Darlington on the way ,arrived at Dover for 4,30 ,birds watered ,on ferry at 5,20 ,visibility on channel about 200 yards
Arrived at Burbure by 9.00 ,birds watered and opened up
Stopped at Burbure as stated at Amal meeting in case of gypsy problems at Arras

Saturday up at 5,00 thick fog on site and on channel ,forecast not to change all morning ,cleared on site at 11.00 channel visibility still only 2 miles with fog . Held over birds fed and rewatered at 4,00
Sunday up at 3.10 drove down to Arras ,good blue skies on site no wind ,,forecast good ,rang coast guard at 5,45 visibility 7 miles no fog ,good on route
Birds liberated at 6.00 clearing well
Belgium pigeons on site liberated at 6.15 going north east in direction ,they had 4 liberation’s
Setting off back at 6,45 back at yard for 7,00
