Fri 4,30 arrived at yard picked up Crook West Durham,Cockfield and Darlington arrived at Leeming at 9,45 ,set off to racepoint with 3 wagons and 2 trailers arrived at Thoresby Hall to find gates locked travelled on to Newark arrived on site at 12,40 birds opened up and watered by 1.10
Sat up at 6.15 very dark clouds with patches of blue sky
7.00 full cloud cover to north blue sky to south
9.00 full cloud cover on site and in places on route
10.00 breaking on site dark looking north
11,10 ,11,25 and 11,40 liberated birds in a fresh south west wind ,birds cleared well with broken skies all way home
