Friday arrived in yard at half 6.00pm to connect trailer to the MAN. Left yard later than expected, this resulted in the shutter door not winding down properly. 8.30pm arrived at Barton services baskets from DV, CON, and DAR feds were transhipped onto both wagon and trailer. Also, another problem has occurred with the little 7.5tonne wagon It seems to have a major leak coming from underneath therefore the wagon was drove back to sewells. Left Barton at 9.40pm. 10.30pm phone call from one of our drivers regarding he couldn't gain access to the yard due to the electric pole outside had collapsed so they was no power for the electric door to work this resulted in the driver taking the wagon home to his house until the electric was sorted, the WDA President and Secretary were notified. Arrived on site for 1.30am all birds watered up by 2.00am wagon and drag full opened up. 6.00am weather on site sunshine blue skies waiting for line of flight to improve around the Retford area no word till 7. 7.00am, same update as before was waiting for it to start breaking no word till 8 but hoping to liberate by then. 7.25am birds liberated in a light south east wind blue skies sunshine birds cleared excellent. Line of flight Peterborough, Grantham, Newark, Retford, Worksop, Wetherby, Wakefield, Ripon, Catterick, Darlington, Bishop Auckland, Cockfield, Crook, Durham, Consett, Stanley, Newcastle.
