West Auckland homing society gold ring race to be flown from west durham amal young bird national 2016.
2015 saw £2,050 prize money paid out with the winner receiving £1,000 plus an additional 9 prizes.
Rings are £11 each maximum of 10 per loft open to crook,cockfield,darlington and west durham fed.

On behalf of the members of Annfield Plain HS, I would just like to thank Colin Beadle, Eddy Nelson,John Hillary,Micky Gray and Albert Jones for an excellent moot they conducted and their generosity in donating yb's for the club
Also to everyone who attended in making this a successful night the support is really appreciated

Like to says thanks to everyone who attended on Saturday especially Matty Longstaff from Darlington who did an excellent job presenting all the prizes. The staff at Shildon Civic Centre were brilliant feeding us and seeing to all our needs.

At the management committee meeting the NEHU races were agreed as per Stuart's post ,the dates for these races was agreed at the NEHU finance/general purpose committee as follows
Eastbourne. Sat 14th May 2016
Roye. Sat 10th June 2016
Bourges. Friday 24th June 2016
If the WDA Agm votes for a similar number of races as 2015 racing will start 9th April 2016
As 2016 is a leap year it was agreed to have these dates

At the NEHU Management Committee meeting held Tuesday the 27th of October the 2016 NEHU Classic Race programme was voted as follows:
Inland Classic - Eastbourne - Saturday liberation
Queens Cup - Roye - Saturday liberation
Blue Riband Race - Bourges - Friday liberation
A protocol has also been adopted which firms up the current process should an organisation leave site/decline to liberate etc. as to who races for the Queens Cup/Sponsorship etc.
