THANK YOU to the 5 fanciers that came to our head quarters to race their 8 max birds against our members at the vale of derwent this morning in our old bird open race.
Basket was 7 to 8am and expected lib was 3.30 with birds possibly getting wet at home end--the winners missed the rain and the fastest was 1680ypm to the loft of Fedor Babak so they didnt hang about.
well down to the open result.

i am pleased to say that of the 5 fanciers that attempted to beat our club members 4 managed to get birds in what i call good time.
mr Callendar managed 14th open
mr Westgarth managed 15th open
mr Fantarrow managed 16th open
and mr Hunter managed 25th open,
